USU Libraries Open Access Fund Accepting Applications
Date/Deadline
USU Libraries awards $30,000 annually to help authors from USU pay for open access publishing. Twice a year, on January 1st and July 1st, you can apply for up to $1500 to cover the Article Processing Charge (APC) for a Gold Open Access journal. You have to be a USU faculty member, staff member, or student, and you can only get one award a year. To learn more and apply for an award, visit the link below.

Aggie Day with the Bees at an Aggie blowout deal. You can buy a $12 seat, or a $36 seat with an all-you-can-eat BBQ meal. BBQ: 5:35 – 7:35 p.m. First Pitch: 6:35 p.m. Smith’s Ballpark The meal package come with a seat in the USU reserved sections, access to the Centerfield Pavilion, and a catered meal of hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, chips, watermelon, cookies, and soda.

Peer Mental Health Support Network is sponsoring an event inviting all students, staff and faculty to stop by the Blanding campus quad to grab and enjoy a blue corn cookie or cupcake. A card will be attached with these sweet treats to give a small history teaching about why blue corn is important to the Navajo Tribe.
