Mindful Movement | Yin Yoga

FREE REGISTRATION: https://bit.ly/mindfulnessandmeditationweekly Yin yoga is a slow-paced, passive type of yoga that incorporates long holds and stretching designed for deep contemplation and mind-body awareness. Yin yoga promotes sensory awakening that melts away tension and stress, and is known to release repressed or stored emotions. A tried and true technique to experience fascia and connective tissue release, Yin yoga is also an excellent practice for beginners because it offers plenty of time to uncover the unique benefits of individual poses without worrying about tricky transitions. Practicing self care through mindfulness and meditation can help you relax and focus on what is most important - your overall wellness. This is a weekly, online wellness series hosted by the Utah State University Salt Lake County Health Extension.

Alumni Snowshoe Hike

Calling USU Alumni! Come spend a few hours snowshoeing up in Logan Canyon. We will meet at the OP and drive up the canyon to hike in the winter wonderland that is right in the USU campus backyard. No experience necessary, beginners welcome. Trip Cost includes transportation, snowshoes, and student leadership. Register at recportal.usu.edu.
