LAEP Speaker Series: Daniella Hirschfeld

Lecture/Readings

"Uncharted Waters: Creating Climate Capacity" Climate change is an unprecedented challenge that is currently threatening natural and human systems through higher temperatures, increased droughts, and rising ocean waters. Adapting to these threats requires robust science-policy integration and a well-designed climate services system, both built on ensuring the usability of scientific information. In this talk I will share my mixed methods approach to gain insights directly from local planners globally. Synthesizing information from 49 countries informs global capacity building through the design of guidance materials, global engagement programs, and climate service provision.
