USU Moab Technical Education will be hosting a Panel Discussion on Gender in the Trades.
Skilled Trades provide a pathway to a career with financial security and fulfillment. However, homophobia, transphobia, sexual harassment and sexism can be barriers for women and other sexual and gender minorities. This panel will share their experiences navigating barriers as well as ways they have found their community and success in the trades. Please pre-register for this broadcasted panel discussion. Peacebuilding in Yemen: Challenges & Opportunities

Panel Discussion/Presentation

How are Yemenis pursuing peace and justice in the aftermath of conflict and Yemen’s civil war? What were the effects of the 2022 cease fire? Featuring author Stacey Philbrick Yadav,an Associate professor of International Relations at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York. She is the author of two books, Islamists and the State and Yemen in the Shadow of Transition: Pursuing Justice Amid War. Since 2019, she has been working with Yemeni colleagues on internationally sponsored projects for everyday peacebuilding in Yemen.

This event is organized by USU Institute of Government and Politics (IOGP) and the USU Department of Political Science.

Join us for a Virtual Open House to learn more about Master of Public Health (MPH) Nutrition program offered 100% online through the Department of Nutrition, Dietetics and Food Sciences at Utah State University. The Virtual Open House will be held on Thursday, March 23rd from 7-8pm MT. The virtual open house will include a program overview and a Q&A session.
