History of Punctuation Poster Exhibition Celebrating National Punctuation Day
Exhibition
September 24 is National Punctuation Day. While punctuation may be viewed as a set of rigid grammar rules, the history of these symbols is fascinating, which was discovered by the students enrolled in Professor Joyce Kinkead’s History of Writing classes. The posters are on display in the Merrill-Cazier Library on the lower floor near Special Collections, September 11-October 9. A public reception with refreshments will be hosted by the Department of English on site on Friday, September 22 at noon.
