Symphonic Band

Concerts are part of the band’s large ensemble curriculum. As capstone events, they typically occur twice per semester. Participation in these events is a significant component of students’ grades, and the concerts are the culmination of several weeks of classroom rehearsals. All concerts are associated with one or more of the following band ensembles: MUSC 4700 Wind Orchestra, MUSC 3795 Wind Symphony, MUSC 3790 Symphonic Band, and MUSC 3785 Marching Band.

At the 2024 Reindeer Express, you’ll meet Santa’s hardworking reindeer and watch as they get their pre-flight checkup from USU veterinary students, ensuring they’re ready for a magical Christmas Eve journey. Explore our winter wonderland filled with festive cheer, Santa photo opportunity, and lots of animals. Perfect for all ages, this event offers a unique opportunity to learn about livestock in a fun and engaging way while making unforgettable holiday memories. -Meet some of Santa's special reindeer while they receive health checkups -Write letters to Santa -Take a photo with Santa -See other animals such as a camel, donkey horse, and calves -Enjoy warm drinks and treats Timed Entry to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests, Reindeer Express will use a timed ticketed entry system. When purchasing your tickets, you'll select a specific entry time. This helps manage the flow of visitors, allowing everyone to fully enjoy the event without long lines or overcrowding. Please arrive within your selected time slot, and feel free to stay as long as you’d like to explore all the holiday fun!
