Climate Change and a Shrinking Great Salt Lake

Years of drought, climate change and water diversions have left Great Salt Lake in a precarious position. In November 2022 the lake hit a historic low elevation, but after a record breaking winter snowpack in 2023, there is hope that the lake can rebound. Now, just over a year later, learn how the biology of Great Salt Lake is doing and what lies ahead for this troubled, but resilient body of water. Join us for this informative lecture delivered by Dr. David Parrott, sponsored by the Friends of the Merrill-Cazier Library.
