International Education Week

Every year the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education celebrate global education during International Education Week, held across the nation at university campuses, in November. The Office of Global Engagement and the International Student Council co-present International Education Week, November 7-11, 2022, with in-person and virtual events celebrating our global community.

Lunch & Learn: Aetna - Assertiveness

Assertiveness doesn’t come naturally to everyone. Many people avoid potential conflicts, but most of us aim to solve problems and get the best results. This training can help participants learn the differences between assertiveness, aggressiveness and passiveness, why assertiveness helps everyone, and ways to become more assertive. Attendance and participation in this event qualify as an activity for the Be Well Rewards program.

Male Body Positive Focus Group

Meeting

The purpose of this focus group is to gain knowledge on body image from the male perspective. Attendees will evaluate a presentation and identify areas for improvement. Participants will receive a $15 Amazon gift card upon completion. The Personal Financial Planning (PFP) club presents opportunities to learn details of financial planning while networking with prestigious financial planners with real-life experience. Service activities provide students hands-on financial experience in the community. We meet biweekly to hear from financial planners currently in the field working mainly across Cache Valley, as well as better prepare to enter a career in financial planning ourselves.
