Lake Powell Kayaking Trip

Recreation

We are heading down south to the amazing red rock and blue waters of Lake Powell to explore some of its many side canyons in sea kayaks. We will pack our kayaks with our gear and spend two nights camping on the lake. Participants must be able to swim and be comfortable in open water. Trip cost includes sales tax, food, transportation, kayak equipment, tent, sleeping bag, pad, and student leadership.

Malouf HMA Case Competition

Sponsored by Malouf Home, the Malouf Marketing Case Competition provides undergraduate marketing students the opportunity to utilize the skills they are learning in the classroom and apply them - implementing strategic thinking, innovative problem-solving and sound decision-making - within a demanding timeframe. Teams of 4 students can compete and present the final product to a team of real -world Malouf Home professionals. This event is a great opportunity for students to showcase their talents, connect with professionals from Malouf Home, win cash prizes and bragging rights.

Big 3 Challenge

Show your strength with the Big 3 Challenge! 🏋️ Max out your deadlift, squat, and bench to join our 250, 500, 750, or 1,000lb club.  ​​​3 lifts, 3 attempts, t-shirt size guaranteed. ​ ​The challenge will run March 21-24 and March 28-31 at the Fieldhouse. Prenatal Yoga

Recreation

Designed as a 6 class series, with each class building upon the last, Prenatal Yoga is focused on increasing strength and comfort during pregnancy through alignment-based yoga techniques. We will also emphasize labor preparation through movement and breath, strengthening your body and nervous system for an empowering birth experience, and teaching you some powerful tools to carry with you into the postpartum period. The 6-week program is only $10. Drop-in passes cost $5 for each class.

This personal work narrates the author's own story of her journey from Hasidic Judaism towards acceptance of herself as a gay woman, produced with special residencies by the author and composer, guest directed by renowned director Beth Greenberg.
