6th Annual Paper & Clay

Paper & Clay is a national juried exhibition open to all BFA & MFA printmaking and ceramic students across the country. This year’s exhibition showcases 54 exceptional contemporary student works from 20 various academic institutions. This year’s juror is printmaking artist and University of Minneapolis professor Jenny Schmid.

The reception for the exhibit is on Thursday, Feb 16, from 5 – 7 PM.

Health & Wellness Expo: Health Fair, Screenings, and Assessments

Special Event

Visit vendor booths and participate in health screenings and assessments for a chance to earn prizes! This year's theme is 'Refresh, Refocus, Reconnect', and will feature a week of activities and presentations both in person and virtual. Screenings and assessments include: hearing, blood glucose, blood pressure and heart rate, grip strength, body fat percentage, and carotenoids. The Health and Wellness Expo is sponsored by USU Be Well, Student Health and Wellness, and Campus Recreation.

CIDI Workshop - Digital Badging Using Canvas Credentials (previously Badgr)

Workshop/Training

Digital badges are sometimes called microcredentials. They can be awarded to students for various accomplishments and then shared by students on social media and elsewhere as an indicator of their accomplishment or competence. Canvas has an integrated digital badging tool called Canvas Credentials (previously called Badgr). This workshop addresses how to create, award, and track digital badges.

The Clean Energy Problem - Terrapower's Natrium Project

To be politically and financially viable, renewable power sources need to provide reliable energy, which is challenging when there is little sun or wind. One idea is to store the extra energy produced during intense sun or wind and use it later during periods of low sun/wind.
Terrapower's Natrium nuclear facility (located in Kemmerer WY, only a few hours from Logan) is seeking to solve this problem. Come find out how!
