Demarcation: a survey of contemporary photography in Utah

Exhibition

Early photographic surveys of the American West explored the physical territory; this portfolio examines the conceptual landscape of creative practice by photographic artists spanning the vast spaces of Utah. The artists have strong connections to the state and their images represent a diversity beyond geographic boundaries; they interrupt convention and draw new lines. Intended to serve as a document of a historical moment, this portfolio was created as
an act of generosity, especially through its inclusion of a younger generation of artists who represent not only the current state of photographic art, but also its future.

Moab Mountain Biking Spring Break Trip

TRIP RUNS: Thu, March 9 - Sun, March 12 REGISTER AT RECPORTAL.USU.EDU UNDER OUTDOOR PROGRAMS We are heading down south to hike and bike the world renown desert red rock in the Moab area. We will spend the weekend exploring some of the amazing mountain biking trails while camping near Moab. Participants must be in good physical condition and prepared for moderate to strenuous biking in a desert environment. No prior experience necessary, beginners are most welcome. Participants are encouraged to bring their own mountain bike (in good working condition) or a rental is available from the OP for no additional cost. Sizes and quantities are limited. Trip cost includes sales tax, mountain bike (if needed), food, transportation, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, tent and student leadership. All participants must have health insurance and abide by OP and University Policies.

Moab Rock Climbing Spring Break Trip

TRIP RUNS: Thu, March 9 - Sun, March 12 REGISTER AT RECPORTAL.USU.EDU UNDER OUTDOOR PROGRAMS We are heading down south near Moab to spend a long weekend rock climbing the beautiful sandstone desert walls. At night we will relax at the campground and enjoy the evenings by the fire. Trip cost includes sales tax, food, transportation, climbing equipment, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, tent and student leadership. All participants must have health insurance and abide by OP and University Policies.
