Shes Daring Mighty Things Summit: Leadership: Listen, Learn, & Lead
Panel Discussion/Presentation | Focused Friday
Join us for a day of energizing conversation and connection at the 2023 She’s Daring Mighty Things Summit. We are excited to have Sui Lang Panoke, Senior Vice President of Diversity. Equity. Inclusion. at Zions Bank, as our keynote speaker. Sui Lang is a visionary leader and social entrepreneur with a passion for empowering today's leader to rethink, create, and innovate. She is responsible for directing the bank's strategic vision to champion diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the organization and build economic inclusion locally, nationally, and across the industry. Her theme for the summit is Leadership: Listen, Learn, & Lead. Following her remarks, we will work in small groups to better understand how we can become leaders in many settings. A Conversation about Business & Government: Senator Luz Escamilla & Senator Curt Bramble
Panel Discussion/Presentation | Focused Friday
Subtitled "Business, Economics, and Entrepreneurship in Public Policy: Your Path to Involvement"
Senators Bramble and Escamilla will be on campus to talk to students about their experience in public service, opportunities for students to learn about and become involved in public policy, and the benefits of completing an internship with the Utah State Legislature. This event is open to USU students from all majors, and especially those who are interested in economics, public policy, opportunities, involvement in public service and policy creation, and legislative internships. Faculty and staff are also welcome.
This event is presented jointly by Utah State University's Institute for Government & Politics and the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business.
