MFA Thesis Exhibition: Extant
Exhibition
Amanda Joy Peterson is a printmaking Master of Fine Arts of Fine Arts graduate student in the department of Art + Design. Amanda’s thesis exhibition, Extant, showcases print and mixed media work. Throughout their program, fine arts and design students work with their committee and other artists to develop advanced techniques, expand concepts, discuss critical issues, and emerge with a vision and direction for their own work. This exhibition showcases of years of dedicated refinement and mastery of skills, ideas, and perspectives.
Free Group Fitness Classes

Starting April 15th and going until the 26th, all group fitness classes through Campus Recreation will be FREE! Try classes like High Fitness, Yoga, Dynamic Conditioning, Weightlifting, Surge and more! ASPIRE Tech Showcase

The ASPIRE Engineering Research Center is showcasing its technology on the engineering quad! There will be multiple electric vehicles, robots from the USU robotics lab, electric vehicle wireless charging technology, and opportunities to learn about and get involved with ASPIRE. We will also have free pizza and ASPIRE research/internship information for students that stop by!
Lunch & Learn - The Positive Power of Getting Outside
Workshop/Training
USU Be Well and Extension professor, Emma Parkhurst, present a lunch and learn on the power of getting outside for our health. Did you know spending time outside is associated with positive health benefits? Join us as we follow the research that supports physical and mental health boosts just from going outside; whether it’s sitting in nature, going on a walk, or even stepping out into the sunlight for a moment. *Presentation will be recorded. Attendance and participation in this event qualify as an activity for the Be Well Rewards program.

The World Food Prize is known as the Nobel Prize for Food and Agriculture. It
is awarded for specific, exceptionally significant, individual achievements that
advance human development within the scope of the food system. Heidi Kühn
is a humanitarian and peace activist who has spent more than 25 years restoring agriculture in former conflict zones. She joins us to challenge USU students, faculty, and administrators to engage in the work of improving food security for all people. Her transformative "mines to vines" effort inspires and asks us to become personally engaged in feeding families to build peace.
Biological Engineering Thesis Defense

Join us for an enlightening session as Chase Paterson, a graduate student in the Biological Engineering program, presents their Master's Thesis Defense. This event marks the culmination of years of dedicated research and academic exploration. During the defense, Chase Paterson will showcase their groundbreaking research, highlighting key findings, methodologies, and the significance of their work in the field of Biological Engineering. The presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session, providing an opportunity for the audience to engage with the student and delve deeper into the research. This event is not only a celebration of Chase's achievements but also a testament to the excellence of our Biological Engineering program. Cooking Demo

These cooking demos are run by senior dietetics students. There are free food samples for the first 20 people. Topics for the cooking demos will rotate so come prepared to learn something new each demo!
CIDI Workshop - Importing and Updating Your Course for the New Semester
Workshop/Training
This workshop addresses how to copy content from one semester's course to another, update due dates and settings, check for problems, and make additional enhancements.
UST The Tempest

Magic, secret identities, and conflict abound inn William Shakespeare's "The Tempest". Prospero uses magic to conjure a storm and torment the survivors of a shipwreck, including the King of Naples and Prospero’s treacherous brother, Antonio. Prospero’s slave, Caliban, plots to rid himself of his master, but is thwarted by Prospero’s spirit-servant Ariel. The King’s young son Ferdinand, thought to be dead, falls in love with Prospero’s daughter Miranda. Come experience the intrigue, the magic, and see for yourself how all will resolve.
USU Symphony Orchestra: A Farewell Concert

Fare Dr. Sergio Bernal well in his last concert as Music Director of the USU Symphony Orchestra that culminates his 23-year teaching career at Utah State University.
Enjoy the fantasy world of Robert Schumann’s Piano Concerto, featuring faculty soloist Dr. Sasha Kasman Laude, and Schumann’s eternally optimistic Spring Symphony!
