Diversity Conference Proposals Due

We are looking for speakers and/or workshop presenters who have the professional expertise or background to educate our attendees about important Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) emphases and current issues. The goal of the conference is to highlight the necessity of DEI in various capacities (e.g., race/ethnicity, gender, sexuality, ability, socioeconomic status, nationality, multigenerational/age, religion, etc.) that will help to shape the future of what diversity, equity, and inclusion looks like in different spaces. Chocolate History, Science, and Society seminar session

The Aggie Chocolate Factory would like to formally invite you to come and view their Chocolate History, Science, and Society seminar session happening on February 10, 2022. There will be 2 sessions happening in case one time doesn't work for you, one at 12:00 pm and the other at 7:00 pm. These will both take place in the JLSC cafeteria. All Faculty, Staff, Students, and community are invited. They will be available afterward for questions, thoughts, or program interests. There will be samples- Thistle and Rose single-origin, Swiss-style milk chocolate, and Ruby chocolate!

Mountain West Economics Conference

A foundation in economic history is a distinguishing feature of graduates of the Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University. In harmony with this mission, the Mountain West Economic History Conference is a venue for promoting and improving research in economic history. Instead of targeting a particular theme or historical period, the program committee seeks papers from faculty and graduate students on a wide variety of topics, time periods, and countries. Each presenter will be given 40-45 minutes followed by a 15-minute break, an atmosphere where presenters are able to receive in-depth peer feedback while also permitting all participants to have extensive interactions with attendees.
