Dreading Winter? Must-Know Hacks for Thriving, Part 1

Approximately 20% of Americans are effected by Seasonal Affective Disorder or SAD which is triggered by a lack of sunlight during the short, cold, dreary days of winter. People with SAD tend to over-sleep, but still feel groggy and sluggish, crave simple carbs and gain weight, and are sensitive to light deprivation the year-round. In Part 1, learn the biology of thriving in winter and how to use bright light therapy, the clear, evidence-based treatment of choice for SAD, as well as Vitamin D information, to help you through.

We will help you to identify unhealthy thinking patterns that significantly contribute to SAD and shape them up! We will also learn classical conditioning principles and apply them to help you make a healthy and enjoyable Winter Plan. Cognitive therapy is an evidence-based approach to treating SAD and also very useful for those of us who just don't care much for winter!
