The Christensen Office of Social Action & Sustainability (COSAS), a program within the USU Center for Community Engagement, invites the Aggie community to learn about the new vision and opportunities that we are organizing in this new year. Enjoy light refreshments, contribute to a small service project, and learn about the interwoven nature of community engagement and sustainability.

Legacy of Val Day of Service: Fuller Center for Housing
Student Activities
Join the Christensen Office of Social Action and Sustainability as we lend a hand at the Fuller Center for Housing's thrift store. This organization's thrift store specializes in building materials-- think like a mash up of Home Depot and Goodwill. We will be sorting donations and tidying the store, making the products look great so that customers can find what they're looking for. Proceeds from the thrift store go to fund critical home repairs for Cache Valley community members with low incomes. The thrift store also diverts usable materials from the landfill! We plan to be indoors, but there's a chance that some tasks will take place outside, so dress for the weather. Close-toed shoes are a good option, since donations can be sharp or heavy. Optional car pool will leave from the black lot (just east of the Legacy Fields, look for someone holding a USU flag).
