Liz and Dave Findlay, the co-founders of Albion, a renowned activewear brand, embarked on their venture with a shared commitment to creating high-quality, stylish athletic wear. Albion's inception in 2010 marked a significant turning point for Liz and Dave Findlay, who sought to fill a gap in the activewear market by offering versatile, comfortable, and fashionable apparel. The brand's success is attributed to the Findlays' hands-on approach, meticulous attention to detail, and dedication to providing customers with activewear that seamlessly combines functionality and style. Over the years, Albion has evolved into a lifestyle brand, reflecting the Findlays' passion for promoting an active and balanced way of living.

Beyond their roles as entrepreneurs, Liz and Dave Findlay have become influential figures in the business community, embodying the spirit of innovation and perseverance. Entrepreneur Leadership Series: Emily Peterson

Panel Discussion/Presentation

Emily Peterson is the CEO and co-founder of Saranoni Luxury Blankets. Emily and her husband, Nathan, started Saranoni to make money to allow her daughter to have surgery to correct the miroctia – a congenital condition that caused her to be born without a fully developed outer ear. Emily and Nathan worked on their business as they were raising three small children. As they created gift baskets that included clothes, shoes, and jewelry, they realized that people loved the baby blankets the most!

As their company grew, they knew they wanted to give back to less fortunate families throughout the world. Through their social give-back initiative, Saranoni Cares, they have blessed many families in West Africa, Syria, and Cambodia.

In 2022, Nathan tragically passed away from stage 4 Gliboblastoma Mulitforme. Through this difficult time, Emily and her family have continued to grow the legacy of Saranoni. Emily echo’s Nathan’s passion for service and connection and is dedicated to growing Sara- noni. Her mission is to bring comfort, warmth, and connection to individuals and families.
