Women's Intro to Top Rope Belay

Women's climb night just got special as we'll be hosting a women's introduction to top rope belaying. Hosted during women's climb night (7:30pm-10pm) at the climbing wall, we'll go over everything you need to know as an introduction to top rope belaying. We will spend our days exploring and climbing some of the amazing routes in the City and our evenings around the camp fire. No climbing experience is necessary for this trip and all abilities are welcome. Participants must be prepared for overnight camping, moderate hiking and heights. USU Farmers Market

The USU Farmers Market was launched in 2017 with support from the Student Sustainability grant program. The fall market features live local musicians in addition to local businesses and student organizations. One of the student benefits is the Double Your Bucks program which allows students to double their money in dollar increments up to $6.00. The tokens may only be used in the Market towards produce and select food items.

Come hit the trail with us as we spend a day riding a beginner-friendly trail while working on body position, bike function and other fundamental mountain biking techniques. Legacy of Val Day of Service: Fruit Picking with USU Harvest Rescue

Join us as we honor the legacy of Val R Christensen and fight food waste and food insecurity! USU Harvest Rescue coordinates volunteers to pick local produce that might go to waste, then donates it to various food pantries, including the SNAC Pantry. We are heading down south near Moab to spend a long weekend rock climbing the beautiful sandstone desert walls. At night we will relax at the campground and enjoy the evenings by the fire. Trip cost includes sales tax, food, transportation, climbing equipment, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, tent and student leadership.

We are heading down south to hike and bike the world renown desert red rock in the Moab area. We will spend the weekend exploring some of the amazing mountain biking trails while camping near Moab. Participants must be in good physical condition and prepared for moderate to strenuous biking in a desert environment. No prior experience necessary, beginners are most welcome. Participants are encouraged to bring their own mountain bike (in good working condition) or a rental is available from the OP for no additional cost. Sizes and quantities are limited. Trip cost includes sales tax, mountain bike (if needed), food, transportation, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, tent and student leadership.

We are heading down south to the amazing red rock and blue waters of Lake Powell to explore some of its many side canyons in sea kayaks. We will pack our kayaks with our gear and spend two nights camping on the lake. Participants must be able to swim and comfortable in open water. Trip cost includes sales tax, food, transportation, kayak equipment, tent, sleeping bag, pad and student leadership.

Help us honor the legacy of Val Christensen by assisting at the oldest community Halloween carnival in the valley! We will be in charge of a glow stick dance area at the Whittier Community Center's annual free carnival for kids. Volunteers in the morning can help set up the stage, and volunteers in the afternoon will hand out glow sticks, manage music, and dance with kids as they come and go from the stage. Volunteers are not required to attend the entire Carnival, shifts available in 1hr-3hr blocks. Register through AggiePulse, link provided.
