Diwali

Diwali (Hindi word) means row of lights which is metaphorical to the knowledge and enlightenment. According to Hindu mythology, It is celebrated as victory of good over evil, light over darkness and knowledge over ignorance. It is celebrated with lightening up the diyas (type of candles) as a sign of bringing light in the life.
