CIDI Workshop - Digital Badging Using Canvas Credentials (previously Badgr)

They can be awarded to students for various accomplishments and then shared by students on social media and elsewhere as an indicator of their accomplishment or competence. Lunch & Learn - How to Budget as a Family

USU Be Well and Extension's Empowering Financial Wellness Program present a lunch and learn on budgeting as a family. Oftentimes, money is considered a taboo topic or hard to talk about subject, especially with children. We want to teach them about the value of saving, practicing good financial habits and involve them in the family budget, especially if you grew up in a household where money matters weren't discussed. Join us for some tips and tools to help you get the whole family involved in the money conversation, even the kids. And you don’t have to be a finance expert to be successful with these tips and tools!! Join us to learn about setting money goals as a family, ways kids can learn about money at different ages and stages of their education and tips to get kids motivated to learn about money and budgeting.

Utah State University is offering the General Education Certificate of Completion (GECC) to all Utah State University students who earn the certificate. This session will describe the purpose of the GECC, the processes that will award the certificate, and existing general education recognition that will sunset (Letter of Completion, Interstate Passport). In addition, presenters will inform the campus community of changes to General Education courses for the 2024-2025 catalog. Trans/Nonbinary Allies on Campus aims to increase awareness and understanding of our trans/nonbinary community and further understand specific trans/nonbinary issues while training participants to stand with, and advocate for trans/nonbinary individuals.
