Join us for a Resume & Interview Workshop hosted by the Institute of Government and Politics at Utah State University. This will be led by Joseph Banks, a seasoned expert from the USU Career Design Center, who will provide students with essential insights and strategies for crafting effective resumes, compelling cover letters, and mastering interview techniques. Enjoy a free lunch while gaining essential insights and strategies for crafting effective resumes and cover letters, and mastering interview techniques for your next internship or job! Session 1: 12:30-1:30 will focus on resumes and cover letters. Session 2: 1:30-2:30 will focus on interviewing. Students may attend one or both sessions. The workshop features Joseph Banks, a seasoned expert from the USU Career Design Center. Sponsored by the USU Institute of Government & Politics (IOGP) and the USU Career Design Center, this workshop is designed to equip students with the tools and knowledge needed to succeed in finding internships or jobs.

LGBT+ Allies on Campus Training

Workshop/Training

In this fast pace two hour training, participants will learn about microaggressions, terminology, and key issues that impact the LGBT+ community. Participants will have the opportunity to sign an allies pledge and receive an ally sticker. Registration is required to receive the zoom link.

Trans Allies on Campus Training

Workshop/Training

Trans/Nonbinary Allies on Campus aims to increase awareness and understanding of our trans/nonbinary community and further understand specific trans/nonbinary issues while training participants to stand with, and advocate for trans/nonbinary individuals. Participants will gain a basic understanding of sex, sexuality, and gender and how these concepts perpetuate microaggressions, discrimination policies, and daily biases. Prepare to dispel some common myths, laugh, and leave with the understanding that there is much work to be done in our community and you are part of the solution. Registration is required to receive the zoom link.
