"Road Trip" Art Exhibit

Photographs by Dave Hanson, a local businessman and award-winning artist, will be on exhibit at Gallery East during the month of February. The exhibit, entitled “Road Trip,” will be on view from February 2nd – March 1st in the Central Instruction Building (CIB) on the campus of Utah State University Eastern.
Gallery East is free and open to the public during the academic year from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., closed weekends and holidays.

Join faculty and students of the Music Department in a recital featuring a variety of chamber music. Repertoire includes selections by Eugene Bozza, Jacques Offenbach, Leo Delibes, Catherine McMichael. Performances will feature student and faculty, student, and faculty ensembles performing including Dr. Jeiran Hasan (flute), Marilyn Cole (oboe), Chilali Hugo (harp), Dr. Jacquelyn Abbot (voice), and Amy Glenn (piano).

Women's Adventure Tour Film Screening

It'll be held in HPER 102 - note please enter through the side doors in between the HPER and ARC as main doors will be locked. It features an exhilarating selection of 8 new short films that showcase the inspiring journeys of remarkable women who have fearlessly pursued adventure in various fields. The Women’s Adventure Film Tour has been celebrated for its unique approach to showcasing women achieving their adventurous goals. Unlike traditional adventure films focusing solely on extreme feats, this tour aims to inspire everyone to step outside their comfort zone and challenge their boundaries – their personal Everest. It's a celebration of bravery, perseverance, and the indomitable spirit within us.

Utah Symphony, Anna Rakitina conducting

The Utah Symphony, known for their musical expertise and deep connection with students and education, come to the USU campus to perform a program selected by conductor Anna Rakitina. This is an amazing offer, gifted by the USU Caine College of the Arts and made available due to contributions from the Tanner Trust for Utah Universities—only $10 for the general public and FREE for USU students, faculty, and staff!
Close out Women’s History Month and join us as conductor Anna Rakitina and violinist William Hagen make their debut on our stage. Hagen, an accomplished international musician, performs Dvorák’s Violin Concerto, inspired by traditional Czech dances and sure to be felt in every limb. Sibelius’ First Symphony is consuming, closing with the passionate Quasi una fantasia (“Like a Fantasy”). Also featuring Smetana’s Šárka—based on the Czech legend of an uprising of women called “The Maiden’s War.”
